Game-rich hunting grounds in one of Europe's most exciting hunting destinations
Czech Republic as a hunting destination
The Czech Republic is one of the most interesting hunting destinations in Europe, especially for German hunters. The advantages are obvious: convenient travel, no customs or entry formalities, well-trained hunting staff, and above all, game-rich hunting grounds.
With a total area of 78,866 square kilometers, the Czech Republic has about 11 million inhabitants. The country is a landlocked state in Central Europe and borders Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and Austria. The most important city is the capital Prague in the center of the country. It is composed of the historical regions of Bohemia and Moravia, as well as parts of Silesia. The Bohemian Forest lies on the southwestern border of the Czech Republic, the Ore Mountains in the northwest, and the Sudetes in the north, which reach 1,602 meters at the Sněžka peak in the Giant Mountains. Southeast of the Ore Mountains, the Bohemian Central Uplands extend on both sides of the Elbe River.
