The first choice for sika deer hunting
Ireland as a hunting destination
Ireland quickly brings specific associations to mind. There are the rugged cliffs shaped by the sea, the vast plains and rolling hills, and, of course, the traditional pubs and soulful folk music. Overall, it is an island of raw beauty. Yet Ireland has even more to offer than landscapes and folk culture. It is also home to one of the best populations of sika deer in Europe. Hunting these exotic stags in this impressive landscape is always worth a journey.
Ireland is an island nation in the Atlantic Ocean in northwestern Europe. It borders Northern Ireland to the north, is separated from Great Britain to the east by the Irish See, and faces the European mainland to the south across the Celtic Sea. With an area of 70,182 km² and nearly 4.6 million inhabitants, Ireland is sparsely populated. The capital is Dublin, situated on the eastern coast. Geographically, Ireland is characterized by central plains surrounded by ridges of hills. The highest elevation is Carrauntoohil at 1,041 meters. There are numerous large and small lakes throughout the plains. Additionally, there are approximately 12,000 km² of marshland, which consists primarily of blanket and raised bogs.
