Roebuck Wehretal

from 15. April 2023

For many hunters, the start of the roebuck hunt on May 1st marks the beginning of the new hunting year. We are excitedly looking forward to this date and rightly so, because what could be nicer than stalking for roebucks with friends in spring for a few days? Our hunting areas in Northern Hesse are virtually predestined for this.

The Graburg and Wanfried areas of the FA Wehretal cover a huntable area of ??over 1,250 hectares and are located east of Eschwege directly on the Green Belt. The two forest areas Wanfried and Graburg are characterized by wonderful beech forests, rocks and landslides, an area of ??unique elegance and character.

We have been working well and trustingly with the Wehretal Forestry Office for many years and know the conditions on site from our own experience. You will experience a quantitatively very good roe deer population, but bucks over 250 grams are more the exception. This is primarily about the exciting hunting experience. Any experienced roebuck hunter will see roe deer. The quality of the areas on the Green Belt is known among hunters and every year there are only a few free spots for buck hunting.

The stocks of roe deer, wild boar and mouflon are high and we recorded very good tableaus there on our driven hunts last winter. You can also request our detailed DJ brochure! Let us advise you, we are regularly on site in the districts and know our way around there very well.
We are looking forward for your reservation!
