It is within these vast, open expanses—the very landscapes described in *Green Hills of Africa*—that Sesembo Hunting Safaris was born. Sesembo Hunting Safaris aims to offer you a hunting experience reminiscent of the era of Hemingway or Capstick. Situated in the rolling hills of Welvaart, the hunting grounds encompass over 13,500 hectares of private land.

After a quick breakfast in the early morning—usually just before sunrise—you will set out to stalk game accompanied by your professional hunter and tracker. When suitable game is sighted, the approach is made by carefully utilizing available cover and the wind. Following a mid-morning snack or lunch, the hunt resumes in the afternoon and continues until dusk.

Hunting in Namibia is permitted from February 1st to November 30th, with good prospects for success throughout the season. For Europeans, the Namibian winter—spanning May to September—is particularly recommended, as daytime temperatures are moderate and the nights are pleasantly cool.
