All wild pigeons can be hunted all year round, with the best hunting season being from 1 February to 15 April. For all pigeon species there are no shooting restrictions.

For all other bird species a maximum of 10 birds per day and shooter may be taken. That prescribes the South African law. Recommended hunting season is from 1st of May to 31st of August.

Camouflage clothing is important for all bird hunts. We have compiled a comprehensive equipment guide, which we will gladly send to you when booking. Especially between February and April (18 to 36 degrees during the day) you need light clothes (long-sleeved shirts and trousers, sun protection creme because the sun is no fun at this time). From time to time there is rain, therefore a light rain jacket or cape is also needed.

Between May and September the days are getting colder (between 0 and 18 degrees during the day), we recommend warm clothing. Rain Is not to be expected at this time. 

Accommodation is according to the wishes of the guest, the size of the group, the travel time and the game species to be hunted. If you have any requests regarding special drinks, please let us know in good time. The organizer will then take care of what you want.

• In the tasteful main lodge there are 7 rooms in total. 5 rooms each have a double bed and 2 single beds, 2 rooms have double beds.

• Near the main lodge there is a well developed accommodation with 3 rooms. 2 rooms with double bed and 2 single beds as well as one room with double bed.

• Another lodge - located a little away from the two above - has 2 rooms. One double bed with 2 bunk beds and 1 room with 2 bunk beds.
