France Driven hunt

In the region of Burgundy-Free County / Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, which was created on January 1, 2016 and whose capital is Dijon, is one of the best deer and wild boar areas in France. This approximately 600 hectare private area has an excellent reputation worldwide for its sustainable deer hunt and wild boar hunt. About 20 years ago, red deer were brought in from the well-known "Mindelzeller bloodline" and kept under natural conditions. Today the strongest deer in France are found there and the boars also reach tuskers lengths of 25 to 30 cm. Fallow and mouflon are also in the area and can be hunted.

This varied private area near Remilly, about 700 kilometers from Düsseldorf and southwest of Dijon, has very large areas of hedges and blackberries, in which the wild boar is plentiful. The old wood stocks and open spaces guarantee a very good view of all game. Most of the hunting is done by stalking or depending on your physical constitution from high seats. For the driven hunt, numerous driven hunt stands are available and there are several drives per day. A maximum of 3 driven hunts are carried out per year, of which two of these two-day driven hunts are occupied by K&K guests. The third driven hunt at the end of the season is carried out by the owner family and a circle of friends.

The quality of the hunting organization, the execution and the course of the hunt are exemplary and are very much based on the wishes of the group. The evening laying of tableau in front of the castle, the sounds of the parforce horns and a good red wine round off a successful hunting day. The subsequent multi-course menu, the good conversations and a fine drink in the fireplace room are the crowning conclusion of a hunting day.

If you are interested in this driven hunt or a single hunt, we would ask you to register as soon as possible, as the number of participants is limited. The individual hunt and also the driven hunts are accompanied by a K&K representative.
