Africa: Tanzania
Tanzania - this is big game hunting! Tanzania - this is the home of strong buffaloes and huge elephants! Tanzania - that is memory and bow to famous hunters! Robert Ruark hunted there, Ernest Hemingway, Theodor Roosevelt and many others. Tanzania - that still means adventure, hard work and exciting hunting for the 'Big Four'.
Informations Tanzania
Tanzania - formerly Tanganijka - is a state in East Africa on the Indian Ocean and borders Kenya, Uganda, DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. Almost 41 million people live on a land area of ??945,087 square kilometers. The capital is Dodoma, but the seat of government and the largest city in the country is Dar es Salaam. Tanzania has been independent since December 9, 1961 and has been a member of the Commenwealth of Nations since that time. Geographically, Tanzania is divided into three parts: a narrow coastal strip with tropical climate, the Massai savanna in the north and a high plateau in the south of the country. Probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary, the Serengeti is located in northwestern Tanzania. Every hunter has a dream: to be allowed to hunt once in the Selous! This nearly 50,000 square kilometer almost entirely unpopulated hunting area is divided into 45 units (so-called hunting blocks) and leased to various outfitters in the long term. A hunting paradise that is second to none!
